I began my career at an associate stylist at Hair Design at Knollwood in Champaign IL, where I expanded my skill set and began to find my identity as a hair stylist. Simply put, I was falling in love with color, beautiful blondes, bold reds, subtle brunettes, and even a few fantasy colors here and there. It is exhilarating to change your look, however subtle or dramatic, you just feel refreshed.

I left Hair Design to move to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I had the opportunity to branch out into a whole new world. And a new world it was indeed! I found home at Artbeat Salon and Gallery in Berkeley CA, where I had the privilege to work with many talented stylists from varying backgrounds. At Artbeat I worked as a senoir stylist and hair color specialist. I found myself renewed in my love of color and customizing the cut to complete a tailored look.

However, as we grow things change and I find myself once again in Central Illinois. A little wiser, a little more objective, a little more environmentally conscious, and engaged to be married!
