Originally surveyed by Abraham Lincoln, Petersburg (population 2,300) is rich in history and local scenic attractions. Nearby New Salem State Park surrounds the reconstructed pioneer village where Abe Lincoln started his career.
Zach Brown's Barber Shop is now located just north of the Petersburg square, one block north of the former location within the Grist Mill Mall. The town square with the Menard County Courthouse is right on Illinois State Route 97, so he is still really easy to find!
